Are you looking for great gift ideas for Mother’s Day? If you’re thinking of jewelry, I recommend to go with classics for Mother’s Day: diamonds or pearls. Although I don’t agree with Marilyn Monroe that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, they are definitely something special. And so are pearls.
Diamonds are carbon that was crystallized under very high pressure and very high temperatures in the Earth’s mantle at depths of between 130 and 300 kilometers. In 2011 the countries with the biggest raw diamond output were Russia, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Canada, Angola, Zimbabwe, Australia, and South Africa.
